Bachelor of Geography
Overview
Learners will achieve basic and specialized knowledge of one of the following sectors: Geography of Natural Resources and Environment, Geomorphology and Natural Disasters, Land Cadastral Mapping and Land Use Planning, Maps - Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing, Climate Change, Human Geography and Eco-economics, Geography of Tourism and Eco-tourism, Geography of planning and territorial organization; in-depth understanding of the characteristics, nature, formation rules, distribution of natural and socio-economic components, and the normative relationship between them at different territorial levels; acquire professional knowledge, ability to collect, analyze and process data, independently solve theoretical and practical problems.

Training Result
After graduation, learners will be able to:
- Work at the central and local agencies and departments involved in the fields of science and technology, planning and investment, natural resources and environment, land administration, agriculture and rural development, culture and tourism, economics, commerce, transportation, irrigation;
- Work as experts, collaborators for international organizations and management boards of projects regarding the rational use of natural resources, territory, population, quality of life and sustainable development;
- Work in project planning departments of corporations, enterprises, production and business companies;
- Teach Geography at universities, colleges, vocational schools, and secondary schools.
