Overview
The Bachelor of English Language (Applied English Program) aims to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills for careers involving the English language. Learners will have a strong foundation in political, social, and natural sciences, as well as expertise in applied English, enabling them to solve professional challenges effectively, and acquire and apply basic knowledge of English structures in such aspects as phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, so that they can adjust and improve those aspects in practice by themselves. The program fosters adaptability, creativity, and proficiency in both independent and collaborative work, emphasizing effective communication and specialized skills. Graduates are also expected to uphold professionalism, ethical standards, and a commitment to lifelong learning, ensuring they can thrive in diverse working environments and continually advance their expertise.

After graduation, learners will be able to:
- Work as tour guides, translators, managers or office staff for tourism agencies or tourism and culture centers.
- Work as Interpreters and translators (English and Chinese).
- Be employed in diplomatic, foreign affairs, culture, sports, tourism agencies, broadcasting and television stations, news agencies, or relevant departments in state organizations at central and local levels.
- Take over the position of human resources, communications, and public relations staff in domestic and international companies.
- Become program or project officers for international organizations.
- Work as educators at colleges, universities, and training centers in fields related to their specialization.
- Managers or employees in corporations and businesses utilizing English.
