Division of Chinese Studies 

Biography

The division was establish in 2021. 

The program aims to train high-quality bachelor's graduates in Chinese Studies, who gains a firm foundation in social sciences and humanities, along with systematic knowledge in Chinese Studies. Learners will have proficiency in using Mandarin Chinese for communication and work, a strong sense of professional ethics, and the ability to adapt flexibly to various work environments, particularly in the context of Industry 4.0 and globalization trends.

Learners of the Chinese Studies program will gain in-depth knowledge of Chinese culture, geography, history, politics, and economics, enabling them to work in businesses, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, research institutes, and other agencies both domestically and internationally in fields related to China.

Training programs

Bachelor of Chinese Studies

Fulltime: 4 years (8 semesters)

Total credit: 135 credits

The program is aimed to train learners with competence, knowledge, and a deep understanding of China, including its language, economy, culture, society, and history; mastering Chinese culture, the relationship between Vietnam and China; acquiring essential skills for professional activities related to Chinese studies, and understanding the corporate culture of China

Besides, learners will gain a range of skills in professional fields related to Chinese studies, capable of completing basic tasks that require the application of theoretical and practical knowledge of the trained field to self-direct and adapt in various work contexts and environments; communication skills; skills in foreign languages and information technology; capable of effectively using Chinese in professional tasks.
