Overview

The program in Managerial Science with ublic Management application orientation provides learners with specialized knowledge and skills in management science. It aims to foster the ability to conduct research, work independently and creatively, and address practical issues in the management field. The program particularly focuses on enhancing management and leadership competencies for personnel working in public organizations within the state apparatus, especially at the local government level. Additionally, it develops learners' critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities in public administration and public policy. This enables them to apply knowledge, methodologies, and management skills effectively to implement strategic policy objectives in public organizations.

Training Result

Graduates will be able to:

- Become leadership, management, and specialist roles in Party and government agencies, departments, and sectors from central to local levels; mass organizations (such as leadership roles in the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Youth Union, Veterans Association, Farmers’ Union, and Women’s Union at various levels); social organizations; and professional associations such as unions, associations, and media agencies.

- Play roles in planning and developing public policies, policy consulting, and micro- and macro-level risk management in general management and public management specifically.

- Do advanced research in management science and public management; teaching at universities, research institutes, and specialized research centers in management science and public management.
