As have been offered, the three students of Faculty of Languages and Cultures (FOBAS) - Tran Ngoc Hue, Vang Thi Thu and Tran Thi Mai actively took part in “2022 Global Cultural Exchange Summer Camp” in Taiwan.

Thai Nguyen University of Sciences (TNUS) sent its representatives to participate in the “2022 Global Cultural Exchange Summer Camp” organized by Chang Jung Christian University, in Taiwan. The program was held online for the second time due to complicatedly changing COVID-19 Plague. The four-days-event started on August 1, 2022, and ended on August 4, 2022. It was attended by 87 participants from 10 different countries.

On the first day of the program, the participants learned about the culture, history, and cuisine of Taiwan. The students spent their second day on an online cultural trip around Taiwan and visited virtual CHIMEI museum. Their third day is a chance to discover the diversity of Taiwanese cuisine. Besides, people learned to make Egg pancakes and Sugar-Coated Haws. At last, on the final day, those who were interested in practicing Chinese calligraphy were guided by Mr. Martin Huang to do that amazing job.

We all love the camp for many reasons. The CJCU summer camp is an opportunity for us, the Vietnamese students to grow the friendship and learn about cultures of Vietnam, Taiwan and other countries. This is special when cross-cultural communication has become one of the essential skills for survival and success in the 21st century.
