Prof. Dr. Xuan-Thao Nguyen, Director of Center for Intellectual Property Law and Innovation, School of Law, Indiana University Robert H. McKinney and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tat Vien Nguyen, former Member of the Central Judicial Reform Committee, Former Legal Assistant of the President, former Director of the Institute of Law and Management Policy visited the Thai Nguyen University of Sciences (TNUS) on July 18th 2019. Two professors exchanged experiences in the teaching and researching law in the United States and Vietnam with lecturers of Faculty of Law and Social Management, TNUS.

Representatives of TNUS in the meeting includes Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Dang – Rector of TNUS; Dr. Hoang Lam – Head of Office of Science - Technology & Intl. Cooperation; Dr. Le Thi Ngan – Dean of Faculty and lecturers of Faculty of Law and Social Management. At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Dang introduced an overview of TNUS and focused on the education and training of Law in the TNUS. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Dang had the thank for the visiting and working of Prof. Dr. Xuan-Thao Nguyen and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tat Vien Nguyen. He expressed the wish that two experts share experiences in teaching and scientific research activities to improve the training quality and develop international publication for lecturers and students in the field of Law at TNUS.

Speaking in the meeting with Rector of TNUS, Prof. Dr. Xuan-Thao Nguyen wants to cooperate with the TNUS in training and scientific research, especially the summer English teaching program taught by international volunteers. After the meeting with university rectors, Prof. Dr. Xuan-Thao Nguyen have a seminar to share her knowledge and experiences of Law teaching and research in the United State and Vietnam. With a modern presentation, dedication and knowledge and experience of a reputable law researcher and lecturer in the United States, Professor Xuan-Thao Nguyen shared many useful experiences for lecturers on how to access to materials resources, teaching directions, research on new trends such as online teaching, combination of theory and practice. Especially, Prof. Nguyen recommended to differentiate and fostered foreign languages for students to be able to exploit hugue learning material sources on international forums.
At the end of the seminar, Prof.Dr. Xuan-Thao Nguyen expressed her joy and desire to continue to academic support and sharing and promote international cooperation between Robert Law School, McKinney and Indiana University in the coming time.
