Intern Sylwia Barbara Groborz, a student from WROCLAW University of Science and Technology, Poland, interns at the Department of Biotechnology, University of Sciences - Thai Nguyen University from August 30, 2019 to November 10, 2019 through the IAESTE international student exchange program. Experienced almost the first 3 weeks of practice, under the enthusiastic and enthusiastic guidance of Nguyen Phu Hung Ph.D. - Head of Department of Biotechnology and Ngo Thu Ha MSc. - Technical support staff, intern Sylwia gained a lot of useful knowledge and had great experiences.
Sylwia is currently practicing at the University’s Biomedical Laboratory, with her research on "Searching for implants that can inhibit cancer growth." This is an intensive and interesting research direction for Sylwia. Here, Sylwia is being taught by Nguyen Phu Hung Ph.D. in detail about some new techniques in Bio-medical research. Besides, Sylwia had the opportunity to work with Nguyen Van Hao, Ph.D. to participate in manufacturing silver nanoparticles from medicinal plants collected after a field trip to the forest.
Right from the first working days, Sylwia was impressed with the University's modern, advanced and standard equipment system. In particular, after nearly 3 weeks of working hard, the team obtained initial results. Sylwia was extremely excited and hoped that the internship results obtained at Thai Nguyen University of Sciences would be able to lead to the publication of the first scientific paper in the Poland student's scientific research career.
Wish Sylwia and the teachers would have great experiences and gain many research results at University of Sciences - Thai Nguyen University.
