On January 1 - 7, 2024 I took part in staff mobolity for teaching program at Polytechnic Institute of Tomar – Portugal, within the Erasmus+ project FOREST, funded by European Commission.
This is my first time coming to Portugal. This is even my first time going abroad. I was very nervous before the trip because I would have to go alone. I received encouragement from my brothers and sisters in the FOREST group, especially from Mr. Xuan and Mrs. Mai. And I decided to go because I wanted to learn, wanted to know Portugal, wanted to know the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar – Portugal.
When I arrived, I was welcomed by Kieu Anh, a former student at the school who was studying in Portugal. It is true that TNUS is home, wherever TNUS members go, they will receive support. I go to Lisbon. I was surprised by the beauty of the Portuguese capital. January 1, 2024 was New Year's Day and I had to travel from Lisbon to Tomar on a 2-hour bus schedule, but my trip lasted 6 hours. It was a memorable memory.
I carried out a staff mobility for teaching program with the guidance of Prof. Valentim Nunes. The day I arrived at school and was enthusiastically welcomed by him. The next day, I worked with the FOREST team. The teachers enthusiastically discussed and guided how to calculate the credit system, teaching methods... The following days I went to school to visit the laboratories, library and classrooms. I have had great experiences in the places I've visited. I felt it was right to participate in this lecturer exchange trip.
