On December, 20, 2023, at the Thai Nguyen University of Sciences, continuing the series of activities of The project Erasmus+ FOREST - Future Oriented Chemistry sponsored by the European Commission. The Forest project team leaded by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vuong Truong Xuan successfully organized the workshop on Climate change policy.

The presenters are the Forest project team and scientists coming the Thai Nguyen University of Sciences. They provided knowledge about policies to respond to climate change in Vietnam and Thai Nguyen province. At the same time, case studies applying solutions to adapt to climate change were introduced.

The presentations at the workshop included:

   1.  Snapshot Policy on climate change in Viet Nam presented by Dr. Vi Thuy Linh – TNUS;

   2.  Policy on Climate change in Thai Nguyen presented by Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy – TNUS;

   3.  Forest ecosystem services and climate change mitigation presented by Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Mai – TNUS;

   4.  Planting and processing of sustainable tea for climate change adaptation in Thai Nguyen province presented by Dr. Nguyen Thi Dong – TNUS.

It was an opportunity for lecturers, scientists and students of the Thai Nguyen University of Sciences to exchange knowledge and research results.
