TNUS is not only well-known by its outstanding achievements in scientific researches but also good at culture and sports activities. That is the reason why the Board of Rectors always hold an interest in developing and expanding these activities.

TNUS Team to Kunming consists of 20 including, Mr. Nguyen Duc Lang Vice Rector, Mr. Cao Duy Trinh - Dean of Faculty of Basic Sciences, Mr. Hoang Lam - Head of Office of Science, Technology and International Affairs and 15 sportsmen, medical staff, and news reporter.

TNUS Team at The 4th South and Southeast Asia College Students Culture and Sports Week

There were 3 competitions in Men Football, Men Volleyball, Women Volleyball between teams from China, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Singapore, India and Bangladesh. TNUS Team competed in Men Football with a difficult fixtures of 6 matches over 8 days and finally placed 7th over 10. Finally, TNUS ranked the second within 5 delegations from different countries.

On this occasion, TNUS delegation also arranged a meeting with Kunming University of Science and Technology and School of International Education. Both sides had discussion on cooperation in scientific research and technology transfer in the near future.
